From a very young age Linzi decided she wanted to teach dance. She begun tutoring and choreographing variety shows and pantomimes at the age of 15 at a local childrens drama group, which only confirmed her love of teaching.
After completing her A-levels Linzi went on to train for 3 years with a full scholarship at Merseyside Dance and Drama Center in Liverpool, where she graduated with Distinction in 2005. During her first year at the college Linzi was awarded the singing trophy and in her third year was chosen as head girl. She was also given the lead role of "Lola" in the Musical "Copacabana" during her third year.
During Linzi's second year at the college she was asked to teach ISTD disco freestyle to other students, and helped a number of students achieve their professional teaching qualifications. After graduating she also returned as a teacher at the college for 3 years, teaching Disco and Ballet, assisting with Contemporary and National classes and choreographing for their annual shows.
The Linzi Grace School of Dance was established in 2004, during Linzi's second year of professional training, where she would travel home to Llandudno over the weekends to teach her own classes and also classes for other local groups.
Sarah is 25 years old and grew up in Dublin until the age of 13 when she moved to a small town called Arklow. She started dance classes in Arklow as a way to make friends in a new town which turned into a passion for dance and musical theatre. She then went on the teach for her dance school with baby modern and ballet classes, before moving to Liverpool to begin her professional training at Merseyside Dance and Drama Centre. Towards the end of her 3 year performance and teacher training course, Sarah came to some of our classes as a student teacher as part of her training. She enjoyed it so much that she continued to come and help in the classes long after her required teacher training hours had finished.
"Teaching is my passion and I have never wanted to do anthing else. I feel very privileged to be able to inspire children and develop their talent and confidence."
"I have a love of musical theatre and acting, singing and dancing. I had always known from the time I was little that I had wanted to be a teacher and dancing seemed like the prefect match as I'm a lively energetic person who loves to be around children and helping them develop and have fun"
