Exams
Children taking classes in Ballet, Modern, Tap and Disco at the school are able to take exams in these subjects. The exams are entirely optional and children who do not wish to take their exams may still move up into the next grade with their friends. There is a fee for the exams which covers the exam fee set by the ISTD and RAD, the room hire and other exam day purchases. Exams in ballet, tap and modern grade 6 and above also carry UCAS points

Graded and Vocational Graded Examinations in Dance at QCF Level 3 are allocated points on the UCAS tariff.
This means that candidates who have achieved a pass or higher in Grade 6, 7, 8, Intermediate and Advanced Foundation can use their RAD exam results towards their points tariff when applying to university or higher education in the UK.
